Buckhead
Buckhead sits just north of Midtown and is known today as the epicenter for upscale housing, dining, and shopping in Atlanta. Two of the largest projects currently underway are: The Streets of Buckhead, which will be an upscale mixed use development consisting of boutique retail shops, high end residences, and hotels; and the Sovereign building which will be the tallest building in Buckhead, when complete, and will consist of professional office space and luxury residences from $1-11 million.

Buckhead is one of the "nation's best subcities," according to a report on America's top cities. "Emerging Trends in Real Estate" (sponsored by Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and PricewaterhouseCoopers) compared the area's vibrant residential-commercial mix and 24-hour flavor to San Francisco, New York and Boston. "Buckhead, where affluence, prosperity and entertainment commingle, is one of Atlanta's most attractive business areas.
